Purpose
To identify and empower one dedicated Teachers Up Ambassador in each of El Salvador’s 14 departments to represent the initiative, foster local engagement, and build a stronger network of English educators across the country.

  • Organizing training and professional development opportunities (in-person or virtual) for English teachers in their department.
  • Hosting regular meetups or networking events for Teachers Up members and potential collaborators.
  • Liaising with local institutions, schools, universities, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders to promote and expand the Teachers Up network.
  • Meeting regularly with the national Teachers Up team to plan activities, share updates, and coordinate national and regional efforts.
  • Identifying needs and opportunities in their region and communicating them to the Teachers Up core team.
  • Promoting Teachers Up programs and events through their local channels.
