Call for Session Proposals
We are thrilled to announce that we are now accepting proposals specifically tailored to English language teachers for our upcoming conference. Whether you are an  English teacher, a teacher trainer, a curriculum developer, or a pre-service teacher, this is your opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with fellow English educators.
Session Types:
  1. Presentations: In these sessions, presenters will deliver engaging and informative presentations on a wide range of topics specifically related to teaching English. Whether you have a success story to share, an innovative teaching method to discuss, or insights into integrating technology in English language classrooms, this is the perfect opportunity to captivate an audience of English teachers and inspire them to enhance their teaching practices. In-person presentations are scheduled for 45 minutes while online presentations last for 30 minutes.
  2.  Workshops: Workshops provide an interactive platform for attendees to actively participate and gain practical knowledge and skills. If you have expertise in a specific area of English language teaching, this is your chance to design and lead a workshop that will engage participants in hands-on activities, collaborative discussions, and reflective exercises. Empower your fellow English teachers to apply new strategies, address challenges, and create dynamic language learning environments for their students. In-person workshops are scheduled for 60 minutes while online workshops last for 45 minutes.
Submission Guidelines:
To submit a proposal for any of the above sessions, please follow these guidelines:
  1. Title: Choose a concise and descriptive title for your session (10 words maximum).
  2. Abstract: Provide a brief overview (50 words maximum) of your presentation, workshop, or showcase, outlining the main objectives, key topics, and takeaways for participants.
  3. Description: Clearly explain the content of your session, including the activities, materials, or technologies you plan to use (100 - 200 words).
  4. Presenter Biography: Include a brief biography (75 words maximum) highlighting your expertise and experience in the field of English language teaching.
Please submit your proposal via our online submission form by July 27th, 2023. The conference committee will review all proposals and notify selected presenters by August 1st, 2023.

Call for Showcase Proposals
We are excited to announce that Teachers Up 2023 conference is now accepting proposals for the Showcase section of our event. If you have a project, program, or initiative that deserves recognition and has made a positive impact in the field of education, this is your opportunity to shine!
The Showcase section will feature two categories:
  1. Social Responsibility: The Social Responsibility Showcase is dedicated to English teachers who have developed and implemented initiatives that promote social responsibility within their English language classrooms or communities. If you have a project, program, or curriculum that focuses on empathy, inclusivity, global citizenship, or community engagement within an English language context, this is the platform to share your success and inspire others to foster social responsibility in their teaching practice.
  2. ESP Projects: ESP (English for Specific Purposes) Projects Showcase aims to highlight innovative projects, resources, and approaches in the field of English language education tailored to specific contexts and professional needs. If you have developed ESP materials, conducted research, or implemented successful ESP programs within the realm of English teaching, this showcase is an opportunity to present your work and contribute to the advancement of ESP pedagogy.

Please submit your proposal via our online submission form by July 27th, 2023. The conference committee will review all proposals and notify selected presenters by August 1st, 2023.
