Here at Teachers Up, we understand the importance of investing in the education and professional development of English teachers. Our organization is dedicated to providing opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge, in order to better serve students in their classrooms.

Scholarships Sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador
- SUSI Secondary Educators: a four-to-five-week academic residency across various academic instritutions in the U.S. (with a one-week integrated study-tour in the U.S.) if conditions allows. Apply by November 10, 2024.
- Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA): a six-week professional development program at a U.S. university.
- Online Professional English Network (OPEN) Program: an opportunity to take to innovative, online university-level classes.
- TESOL Convention Registration and Membership Scholarship: an apportunity to attend the virtual TESOL convention and a year long TESOL membership
Scholarships Sponsored by the Institute for Collaborative Learning
- World Learning's SIT TESOL Certificate Course: an internally recognized certificate course, full scholarship worth $2,000.
Teachers Up Awards
- Excellent Use of Technology in the Classroom Award: This annual award recognizes and honors teachers of English who demonstrate innovative use of technology in the English language clasroom. Application closes on November 18, 2024.
- Teachers of the Year Award: This annual award recognizes and honors the hard work and dedication of one exceptional English language teacher at all levels in El Salvador.
- Fan Favorite Teacher of the Year Award: The Fan Favorite category was created so that the Teachers Up community could vote for their favorite teacher, and the winner is determined by who has the largest number of likes/loves on Facebook and Instagram.
- Teachers Up in Action Award: This award is given to Teachers Up members who have demonstrated how their participation in Teachers Up activities has led to change in or benefit to themselves, their students, and their school, by sharing their stories on how they have applied what they have learned from Teachers Up activities into teaching.
- Teachers Up Committment Award: The award is presented to Teachers Up members who participated in at least 80 percent of all activities organized by Teachers Up in a year.
